About
As of 12/1/19 I will no longer be posting upcoming events or show here on my website. Things change too quickly. As always this information will still be available on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
I'm a visual artist from Bowling Green, KY who works primarily in oil paint, ink, and graphite. My oil paintings are rooted in earth tones which are worked with an impressionistic technique that often results in a thickly textured final product.

Most of my work is in the Dark Art genre and can usually be lumped into the sub genre of “Pop Surrealism” or “Lowbrow”. Many works include depictions of the heart as a symbol for both emotional and physical vitality. Other themes often include personal struggles such as loneliness, depression, regret, frustration, confusion, and love, as well as social themes such as violence, oppression, and income disparity.

I have some formal University training but this was discontinued when I developed a visual impairment known as retinopathy. These days I work on art when my vision allows, and when it doesn't; I don't. I am sometimes open to commissions so if you have something in mind please send me an email and we will see if I am interested. I probably won't draw your children but I might draw your cat. Please follow me via the social media links provided and check out my links page.
